We're Getting Married!

Thanks for coming to see our website.  If you are here then you will already know that we are getting married on the 10th December 2011 in North Wales - and we hope you can be there to celebrate with us!  This site is here to give you lots of useful information about our wedding, how to get there, where to stay and lots of other things that you might just be interested in.  At the moment we have only sent out our save the dates so by the time we send out our invitations we will have added more information - more about what's happening on the day, gifts, food choices and anything else we think you might be interested in....

A quick, but important note on accommodation - It is worth booking hotels early if you can, partly because some of those on the accommodation list are cheaper the earlier you book, and also, because they do get booked up quickly.  There is another wedding close to where we are getting married and some hotels are fully booked already.  So, better to get in early, especially if you plan to stay the night before and the night of the wedding.  Our ceremony is not too early - at 2.30pm so if you don't want to stay both nights, you shouldn't need to.

The area we are getting married in the Conwy Valley is really beautiful and it's where Craig lived when he was young (a long time ago!) - it is also just down the Road from Linda and Brian's!  Our venue search was extensive to say the least so we are so pleased to have found what we were looking for, and we really appreciate everybody who can travel up to be with us.

We are looking forward to a cosy ceremony, and of course a great party in an Edwardian Country House, which will be ours for a day and night of celebrations. As we are getting married in winter, night time will come early, so our wedding will probably have more of an evening party feel rather than feeling like a daytime event.  With this is mind, we are hoping for a real glitz-fest so feel free to embrace a bit of old fashioned glamour and dress up as much as you dare!  Our wedding venue was a true party house when it was owned by Henry Joseph Jack who loved to entertain lavishly, so it certainly seems fitting for our wedding - be ready to celebrate!

Knowing us, you will understand that while we will be hanging on to some traditions, we will be ditching or changing a few others - this is our own version our ideal wedding, with only the most important people to us in attendance.

We hope you can come along and have a great time with us in Wales, and if you have any questions at all, just call or email us or post a comment here on this site and we will do our best to answer them.  We will also update this site with new information when we have it so it's worth coming back again to check for more.

Lots of Love

Craig and Sarah xxx
